Omeprazole 20 mg GPO
Indications
1.Prophylaxis or treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers and symptomatic gastro-oesophageal reflux disease.
2.Prophylaxis of stress ulcer or NSAID-associated ulceration.
3.Treatment of dyspepsia caused by indigestion and excessive acidity in your stomach, and treatment of gastric hypersecretion associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components or any other drugs in the same group.
2.Use this medication cautiously in pregnant women or lactating women.

Recommendations of drug use
1.Should be taken on an empty stomach. Swallow the capsule whole. Do not chew, break, or crush it.
2.This medication should be used according to medical advice of physician or pharmacist only because the dosage and duration of treatment depend on the type and severity of disease.
3.Avoid smoking and alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, soft drink, spicy food, and emotional stress.
4.You should eat at the same time each day, and eat soft diet that are easy to digest. Avoid lying down soon after eating as this will worsen the reflux symptoms.

This medication may cause important side effects such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, flatulence, nausea, headache.
