Norfloxacin 400 mg (NOXINOR-400)
Indications
1.Treatment of urinary tract infection such as cystitis, mild pyelonephritis.
2.Treatment of bacterial infection of the colon such as shigellosis.
3.Physician may use this medication for other indications not described above.

Contraindications and precautions
1.Do not use if you had an allergic reaction to this medication or its components or any other Fluoroquinolones.
2.Do not use in patients with myasthenia gravis.
3.Use this medication cautiously in pregnant women.
4.Use this medication cautiously in patients with renal impairment.
5.Use this medication cautiously in patients with epilepsy, or central nervous system disease because this medication may stimulate the brain, and it can trigger seizures.
6.Avoid using this medication in lactating women because this drug transfers into breast milk.
7.Avoid using this medication in patients with G6PD deficiency. Click to listen highlighted text! Recommendations of drug use
1.This medicine should be taken on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before meals, or 2 hours after meals or drinking milk.

Adverse Reactions
This medication may cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, stomach discomfort.
It may not be necessary to discontinue the medication.
If the symptoms are severe, seek medical advice.
If you develop irregular heartbeat, pain in the tendons within the wrists and ankles, worsening muscle weakness, numbness or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, convulsion for unknown reasons,
discontinue the medication and seek medical advice immediately.
If the symptoms of suspected hypersensitivity reactions occur (such as swelling in the face, eyelids, lips, urticaria, erythematous rash),
